Leeks, Carrots, onions, mushrooms, herbs and a generous amount of wine flavor the chicken as it simmers. In this demonstration, Julia chooses to serve the chicken on simple white rice, however the chicken meat could be served in its own broth with the vegetables as a pot au feu. . . Note that nothing is ever wasted.
